Lately, people (mainly African Americans) have been kneeling during the National Anthem. They feel that because of recent "racial discrimination" that its rightful to kneel during the Anthem. This topic is newsworthy because there is big controversy over it, and there are multiple points of view over the matter. I think that its outrageous and unnecessary because even though they could have been disrespected, the National Anthem has nothing to do with what happened, it represents the great courage that the American military uses daily, and kneeling to our Anthem is a shame. Do you agree that its right or not to kneel during our National Anthem? Info was gathered from the following link:

The information told me more about what happens when they kneel. I honestly think they should stop kneeling because it is completely unacceptable because it is so rude to America. They should be thankful because they make so much money playing a sport in the United States.
ReplyDeleteI agree and disagree with you. I don't think they should have kneeled, but it is good that they brought attention to the topic. Your information is good.
ReplyDeleteI liked how you gave your opinion on the topic. What I found interesting was how you got your point across very clear. I like they way you gave lots of information but you still made the reader thing about the issue.
ReplyDeleteYour facts are good, but i disagree with your opinion. I consider that you try to act empathetic towards this. They want a way to show the issue, and I can't think of another way of doing it. The national anthem to me means the USA and what it has done. America's done terrible things, but they're just trying to be optimistic.
